Diabetes is a growing problem all around the world. Either way, this disease can lead to serious problems such as kidney failure. Unfortunately, many of the medications that mainstream medicine is now using can have serious side effects and do not always seem effective at preventing complications from this disease. Bitter melon is a popular Indian remedy for diabetes and has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years for this and many other conditions. It is believed that compounds in bitter melon mimic the action of insulin in the body and can help with natural blood sugar regulation and control.
